DRKNYT / Applied Sciences / Dreamlab

The room. The systems. The plan.

A separate long-term expansion, with the retained equipment scenario and the measurements still to make.

Division edition 04 Updated October 30, 2026

Inside the imagined lab · Image details

Generated garage-lab concept, October 30, 2026. OpenAI image tool, directed in Codex by LUCIEN. This is an imagined research environment, not a photograph of an existing DRKNYT facility. Image-model version was not exposed.

A separate, staged expansion

Dreamlab is the longer-term office and living-room concept: development work, local-model research, a separate graphics worker, shared storage, backup and device testing. It is a proposed space, not an existing installation.

The retained October 16, 2026 equipment scenario totals $94,296.81, comprising $88,959.25 of equipment and $5,337.56 of estimated tax. These are historical planning figures that require fresh quotes. They are separate from the immediate $4,291.93 equipment request.

The room brief

  • Two upper 75-inch televisions, targeting 4K resolution at 60Hz or higher, with sightlines from the desk and lounge.
  • Four adjustable desk screens: two curved central displays and a portrait display at each end. Exact sizes, mounts, weight limits, reach and cable clearance remain to select.
  • A wraparound desk, supportive adjustable chair, lounge seating and a Detroit view. The revised concept moves the rear wall back; actual room dimensions and comfortable viewing angles still need measurement.
  • A lockable, illuminated glass-front equipment cabinet with managed cooling. Fire and water resistance are design goals, not established ratings.
  • A defined connection plan across computers and displays. The six-screen picture does not establish that one computer can drive all six screens.

Room furniture, screens, mounts and cabinet are additional unpriced requirements. Electrical circuits, ventilation, noise and safe circulation need a measured design.

Equipment $88,959.25 + estimated tax $5,337.56 = $94,296.81. Installation, software, cloud usage, power and other operating costs remain additional. The retained listings had availability constraints, conflicting graphics-workstation specifications and power units requiring appropriate 20-amp circuits. Historical availability is not an available-today promise.

Build in stages

  1. Restore a reliable working desk and verify the backup/restore path.
  2. Qualify one local-model task and one video task against explicit time, quality and cost targets.
  3. Measure queueing and storage growth before adding workers and shared capacity.
  4. Select room components after measurements, display routing and electrical/thermal review.

Image and experience record

The room uses revision 4 of the original Dreamlab concept, created October 28, 2026 with OpenAI's image tool and directed in Codex by ONEIRO. Original DRKNYT artwork and division names were composed separately onto the scene. The exact image-model version was not exposed. It is a generated concept, not a photograph or engineering certification. Product images show reference families; exact configurations, ownership and public reuse rights are separate checks.
