Understanding cost
Different ways to build.
Different things to pay for.
A low price can be the right choice. A larger investment can also be justified. Compare the actual work, who does it, and what it costs to operate.
These are selected United States providers’ published offers, checked October 23, 2026. They are examples of buying models, not a market average, independent quality ranking or like-for-like quotations.
Self-service software
Routeless Go
$99 / month$0 setup · $1,188 for 12 paid months
The $99 monthly Go offer is self-service: the owner builds and manages the site with artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted tools. Routeless also publishes a separate $999 team-built option. The Go offer includes hosting, inquiries, content tools, analytics and technical search engine optimization (SEO) foundations. Domain fees are separate; the Go page states no annual contract.
When it may fit: you can supply the content and run the site yourself. A custom portal or specialist integration is a separately quoted project. Confirm cancellation and export terms.

OuterBox
$10,000–$50,000Range for many of its projects
The agency reports this range for many website projects, with complex builds exceeding $100,000. It describes coordinated research and planning, design, content management system (CMS) implementation, search engine optimization (SEO), integrations, quality checks and launch work.
When it may fit: substantial content, commerce, migration or organizational requirements call for a broader delivery team. Scope and continuing costs still need a specific proposal.

Agency project fees do not include an assumed year of ongoing service. Prices can change; confirm current terms directly.
What a fair comparison asks
- Who figures out what the business needs? Are you supplying a finished brief, or does the work include customer research, positioning, content decisions and workflow planning?
- Who builds, connects and verifies it?Compare the actual customer journey, integration work, access permissions and launch checks—not just the number of pages.
- What happens after launch?Understand account ownership, export options, hosting, provider bills, reporting and who responds when something needs attention.
Where DRKNYT fits
