Working together
An estimate for
the whole job.
We discuss the result you need, recommend an approach and explain the likely investment. Research, design, development and verification belong in that plan.
Enough clarity to make a decision.
We begin with a conversation and a first look at the business. You receive an estimated range, the assumptions behind it and what could change the cost.
When the work is understood, we agree on a fixed project price or a budget for the next phase. Related details needed to deliver the agreed result are included. New requirements are discussed before they change the price.
We won’t exceed an agreed phase budget without your approval. You can choose to simplify the plan, stage the work or postpone something.
What a DRKNYT project might cost
Illustrative budgets · US dollars (USD)A strong local business website
$2,000–$4,000A service business needs clear positioning, useful pages, credible project examples and an easy inquiry path. We research the offer, shape the content, design and build the site, prepare search fundamentals and agree a basic measurement plan.
Assumes a straightforward site, available business information and media, and a standard contact or booking connection. Extensive original content, migrations or custom accounts can change the estimate.
A website with a connected inquiry process
$4,000–$8,000A business wants the website to help carry an inquiry into its existing way of working: collecting useful details, routing the request, acknowledging it and making follow-up visible. The estimate covers the website and an agreed workflow, with checks and a handoff.
Assumes a bounded workflow and tools with suitable access or documented integrations. Complex data migration, several systems or sensitive records require further planning.
A focused customer or business application
$8,000–$15,000+A customer portal, an internal workspace or a specific artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted workflow may need accounts, permissions, data, integrations and more extensive verification. We define an achievable first release, then price the phases we can evaluate.
This is an indicative budget for a focused first release, not an enterprise platform or an unlimited application. Payment, compliance, scale or security requirements may put a project well above this range.
These are proposed DRKNYT planning examples, not observed market averages, past invoices or commitments. Smaller projects can cost less. Hosting, subscriptions, usage charges, applicable taxes and ongoing service are identified separately before you commit.
The thinking is part of the work.
Strategy and research
Every project needs an understanding of the business and the result. The depth should match the decision; a major market study is a different undertaking from planning a local website.
Search, discovery and understandability
Research the questions customers ask, improve the relevant pages and technical foundations, and make the business facts, sources and relationships explicit. Establish observable measures. See the work and examples →
Useful technology
Accounts, webhooks (automatic messages one system sends another when something happens), automation and artificial intelligence (AI) are considered when they solve a real problem. The proposed approach explains which connections are useful and who maintains them.
Review and follow-through
The proposal includes review points, acceptance checks, handoff, a 30-day correction window for software defects in the agreed functionality and a post-launch review. Research, strategy, brand and content review terms are set in the proposal. Ongoing service is agreed around the work needed.
A budget is a useful starting point.
If you have $2,000 available, we can discuss a published standalone commission or a bounded first phase that fits. This does not automatically select the Get Found & Understood commission or include a complete website; your proposal names the chosen scope. If the desired result needs more, we explain why and consider phases. You should understand the decision before you spend.
Choose the right path
A whole project or one separately scoped service.
These planning ranges describe complete website or application projects. Smaller standalone commissions keep their own published prices and scopes. Review DRKNYT services and current fixed offers before deciding.
Your proposal identifies which offer or custom scope applies. Work included in a project fee is not billed again.
These campaign terms apply to new inquiries. An existing accepted agreement continues to control the work it covers.
